Early Life and Origin :

According to Hindu mythology, Tirupati Balaji is considered an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the universe. The story of his birth traces back to the Treta Yuga, a bygone era when righteous kings ruled over the earth. Tirupati Balaji was born to King Akasa Raja and Queen Dharmamamba as their divine son. He was named Srinivasa and grew up in luxury and opulence.

Marriage and the Legend of Padmavathi :

The story of Tirupati Balaji takes an interesting turn with the legend of his marriage to Goddess Padmavathi, an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi. According to the myth, Lord Srinivasa happened to visit the hermitage of Sage Bhrigu, who was away at that time. The divine couple, Srinivasa and Padmavathi, saw this as an opportunity to marry without any objection. When Sage Bhrigu returned, he was furious to find someone occupying his ashram without permission. In a fit of anger, he kicked Lord Srinivasa on his chest, causing a scar.
